Mastermind
Mastermind
Mastermind is a logic and deduction game created in 1970 by Israeli inventor Mordecai Meirowitz. It quickly became popular for its simple yet addictive intellectual challenge.
In the game, one player (or the computer) creates a secret sequence of colors. The other player tries to guess that sequence within a limited number of attempts.
After each guess, the system provides visual clues:
- Black pegs indicate a color that is correct and in the correct position.
- White pegs indicate a color that is correct but in the wrong position.
The game continues until the correct sequence is discovered or the maximum number of attempts is reached.
Mastermind develops logical thinking, strategy, and deduction skills, and is enjoyed by both children and adults alike.
How to play?
There is 3 modes: Easy (4 colors with no color repetition), Medium (5 colors, no repetition) and HARD (6 color, with color repetition - good luck!!)
Mouse and left button. Drag and drop the colors in the right spot and click CHECK to verify if you done right or not! =)
Information for nerds
This is a project that emerged in the middle of developing another project. It’s not a complete or finished game, but I’ve refined it enough to be playable and presentable for everyone.
Some graphics were made with AI help.
